Life Problems? We can help!!!!
Struggling with stress? Give it to God!!!
HIS ANCHOR HOLDS!!!!
Have you ever been on a boat??? How about during a storm? Do you hear the wind whispering in the dark? When darkness comes do you feel alone? Do you wish heaven would just open up and send angels to protect you? Why am I asking all these questions? I’m glad you asked!!! A lot of times we go through life just trying to keep from drowning in the all the chaos. It seems like one thing after another is thrown at us, keeping us in an uproar. We never stop to consider what is actually keeping us alive. What is keeping us afloat on top of the waters? It’s definitely not the boat. For the boat can easily be tossed aside due to the crashing waves. But what could be keeping the boat from sinking? His Anchor holds!!! God is the anchor in our lives. If it wasn’t for the creator of the universe holding our souls in balance, we would definitely not survive. One strike of lightning is all takes to knock us out. Luckily the anchor holds strong and never breaks!!! Jesus walked on the water to get to us. Do we step out on the boat into the storm focusing solely on the son of God? Or do we look at the chaos around us and sink to the dark depths of the sea? Fret not my child, for Jesus reaches out his hand and pulls us back in the boat… Many times we take our eyes off Jesus. Way maker he is. Miracle worker he is… He keeps his promises in his timing. He is the light in the darkness. That is who the anchor is. Never forget that when the anchor feels like it’s about to snap it’s at it’s strongest hold. Stay blessed and hold on to that anchor friends…
HIS ANCHOR HOLDS NOW AND FOREVERMORE!!!!
This post may be slightly bias to some of you but I have to get this off of my chest. Here goes…

Ever wonder why christians nowadays have a hard time reaching the lost? Ever wonder why people cringe at the mention of God or Jesus? Why do people run when we try to witness? It’s because for years we have had the wrong approach. Most christians get so excited when they talk to the unbelievers. It’s like, “oh so you don’t know Christ”? And then we just shoot information at them with the same force as an AK-47 would in the military. And then we sit back and watch the look of disbelief and doubt fall on their faces. To us Christianity is real. To them we make it sound like a fairytale. A bed of roses if you will. We got it all wrong folks. Christianity is by no means a bed of roses. It’s not always about the blessings. Trials will come and go and we will be tempted. We will be pressured and persecuted. So what should our approach be? We should first show them what our life was like before we found Christ. We must get down on their level instead of putting ourselves on a pedestal. We must show them what the darkness is that they are living in and slowly shine our light on the situation. We must not use the shotgun approach. We need to get to know them like Jesus did when he ate with the sinners. He chose 12 unqualified dirty wretched souls and taught them a new way to live. They became his disciples and they turned from their wicked. Then he offered himself as the perfect sacrifice to die for OUR sins. Would you lay down your life for the homeless, the drug addict, a murderer? What if someone kidnapped your child? What would you do? Would you kill them? Or would you forgive them like Jesus did on the cross… The thief beside Jesus on the cross told Him to remember the thief when Jesus came into his kingdom. Then Jesus told the thief that surely today he would be with him in paradise. Suddenly Jesus cried out it is finished!!!! Then 3 days later he rose from the dead and sent his holy spirit so that we may be free from the burden of sin. So, to the lost one reading this, would you like to join this royal family? All you have to do is ask God to cleanse your heart and forgive you. Only then will the blood be applied. Have a blessed day and I love you all.
